The first of our 2015 Bowlaway Tours took place last weekend. 10 teams, representing 8 clubs joined together to form the ‘Bowlaway Tourists’.
They arrived in Bournemouth on Friday, and after settling in and a good night’s sleep, the first match took place on Saturday at Bournemouth Indoor Bowls Club. The second match was on Sunday at the East Dorset Indoor Bowls Club.
The overall winners were Peter Rogers from Abingdon playing with Keith Windell, Joan Windell and Angela Hill from North Somerset.
The tour was a great success, thoroughly enjoyed by everyone and we are looking forward to doing it again in 2016!
