A Bowls International report reveals that a Bowls England World Championships Shortlist has been annonced.
14 players feature on the provisional shortlist for the 2016 World Championships in New Zealand.
A final team of 10 players ( 5 men and 5 women) will be selected by 26 September, and could include names not currently on the shortlist.
The World Championships are held every four years, and this year will see qualifying teams taking part in Men’s and Women’s fours, triples, pairs, singles, Men’s overall Champion Country, and the Women’s overall Champion Country.
The 2016 World Championship takes place in Christchurch, New Zealand from 29 November – 11 December 2016
