As the outdoor season draws to a close Bowlaway looks forward to welcoming our last outdoor tour of the season on Friday 25 September.

The weather forecast for Bournemouth is looking great for bowls this weekend – 17°C, partly sunny. It’s also looking good for a stroll on the beach, and maybe even an ice-cream or a pint if there’s time.

Bowlaway is already taking bookings for Outdoor Bowls Tours 2016.

Bournemouth is fortunate enough to have one of the best climates in the UK, with the average rainfall 32% lower than the national average, 8-10% higher peak temperatures and 18-25% more sunshine over the summer months.

Bournemouth has some great bowling clubs, and Bowlaway has a strong and established relationship with most of them, making it easy for us to arrange matches.

With one of the best beaches in the UK, a vibrant town centre with some great shopping and some beautiful countryside easily accessible by public transport, Bournemouth also has plenty to offer non-bowlers.

Indoor Bowls Tours 2016

Bowlaway also organise Indoor Bowls Tours during the winter. There are some excellent indoor rinks in and around Bournemouth. The Bournemouth weather is a little less unfriendly at this time of year than some other parts of the UK, making an indoor bowls tour a welcome break from deepest, darkest winter.
